  • A pigeon's eye view of the "Queen's Necklace." Our hotel (Trident Nariman Points) is the pinkish-beige building under the wing of the flying pigeon in the left-center next to the light pole. The hotel was occupied for three days by the 2008 terrorists.

  • Mumbai's "Hanging Garden" is actually a park sitting on 4' of soil on the roof covering a reservoir (called a "tank" in the rest of India). (Many Hindu temples have tanks associated with them. They nearly always have a temple as an island in the water and many have an annual festival where a highly-decorated floating temple with local deities is propelled around the tank several times.)
